Welcome to Monterey Bay Racquet Club—a haven for racquet sports enthusiasts and a testament to our love for tennis and pickleball. Our story is one of passion, dedication, and the joy we find in fostering a thriving community of sports lovers.
Our Journey: Our journey began with a vision to transform outdated tennis courts, aging for over 20 years, into modernized facilities that breathe new life into racquet sports. This vision was brought to life by the dedicated efforts of Monty and Richie, tennis and pickleball aficionados and the heart of Monterey Bay Racquet Club. Inspired by the Monterey Bay Pickleball Challenger tournament in February 2022, they embarked on this transformative mission.
Our Local Team: The core of our success lies in our local team. Monty and Richie, along with their childhood friend Javier Vargas, who is deeply rooted in the local community, poured their hearts and souls into this project. With the guidance of Genesis, another passionate local, they set out to create a space that transcends conventional sports facilities.

Our Offerings: Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting, our resurfaced tennis and pickleball courts are designed to accommodate players of all levels. We have proudly hosted five tournaments since the inception of the Monterey Bay Racquet Club, including the esteemed Monterey Bay Pickleball Challenger tournament in February 2022. These events provide ample opportunities to engage with the sport and fellow enthusiasts.
